  1. Ex-Warrior Javale McGee has been waived by the Mavs – from what I saw, he looked fine at the Suns playing center alongside CP3 in the regular season.

Not sure if time has moved on, but we still want someone returning who is familiar with the Warriors Kerr system.

    Depends on FO honestly.

Javale was good as a Center in the spurts he played for us. And that was on the time where Loondawg is still trying to cement his place as the GSW Center.

Javale has always said good things about the org and how it is run when asked during interviews so he might not reject an offer from GSW.

IMO I would like if they sign him but I am not sure if Center is a position heavily chased by the FO. Regardless of the opinions by some fans that GSW need a center.

Edit: FO, at least on this context, also includes coaching staff btw.

Igoudala and Draymond refer to Javale as one of the smartest people in the league.

He works well with the team!

This might be the year of the vets!

I don’t even care how he plays, I want him on the roster

It’s pretty crazy how much the narrative on McGee as a basketball player changed since his stint on the Warriors.

I would be shocked if Dunleavy signed him

I’ll always love that dude for his hard play and his… unique moments. When he tried to inbound the ball for the opponent will always be amazing to me.

Haven’t watched him much the last few years but everyone seems to say he thrived with CP before dropping off….almost makes too much sense to give it a shot. The case can be made.

If we feel the wing market is just absolutely dried up I’d take a shot, however I’d rather give some minutes to TJD as of now and our biggest need is wing depth. Kuminga and Moody are the only back ups at this point.

Get him. Do it now. He’s basically 100% upside. Adds size and energy in spurts. Knows the system. Great locker room guy.

As the 15th spot, it’s worth looking into!
