Heat nation obsession with Woods. I’m not sure why you guys this woods is going to be a good or even great pickup. It’s a reason why no team has signed him yet and why he fell so low out of the draft. HES LAZY!!! PLAYS NO DEFENSE!!! CANT DO A SET , and CAN BARELY REBOUND! Does more harm than Good!

All those things are true, but we’ve seen Spo turn around Whiteside, Waiters, James Johnson, etc. Players have time again come to Miami and had their best year(s). Sort of a low risk, high reward situation. I feel like a stretch big who can put up solid offensive numbers could help us if he actually buys in. The market has already shown him that teams aren’t willing to put up with the BS anymore. I don’t really care either way about signing him though.

Its Wood but reports have indicated hes waiting to see what happens with lillard before signing. Same with a few players.

Spo has done more with less.

  3. He’s played for the Pistons and Rockets. Also your post title is god awful. Just delete this

I don’t like him either but on a minimum there’s practically no risk and the upside if you somehow convince him to buy in and Spo works his magic is worth it. You can very easily sit or waive him if it doesn’t work out.

You don’t have a lot of options when all that’s left are minimum guys.

I mean those things are true but we’ve also signed whiteside before. The reason is more likely that we have 13 people signed currently and 4 are centers.

I see it the same as K love. Hes an offensive big man, he can fit into our system, and big truss the heat will get him to play defense lol

We had a Christian Wood style player (in terms of effort/attitude), his name was Hassan Whiteside. Don’t need another one on the team, especially since he’ll probably play a supporting role subbing for Bam since I doubt him and Bam can share the court on offense

I can see him have a good year or 2, try hard and then possibly get a decent contract and fall back off.

spo with talent on a minimum isn’t gonna make us a lottery team relax

Why he fell so low in the draft? Absolutely not there is no reason why he should have went undrafted. Yeah he’s selfish but he can score and very efficiently. Also is a capable rim protector. He is a bucket and would fit great with Bam in the front court. Borderline all star talent look at how kp and Brunson look after leaving that situation in Dallas.
