Given that the article specifically discusses players potential ceilings, Cade absolutely belongs over Melo, especially seeing Cade play for Team USA Select team.

Cade missed the whole damn season, why go at Ball when cade was out longer?
I been watching nba basketball for over 35 years and I don't see how anyone put a ceiling on players. All them pgs can be great if they put in the work to be great. I'm a pistons fan and love cade but I don't see anything wrong with the list except scoop Henderson because he haven't played a nba game yet.
In terms of ceiling, Cade was a much better prospect coming into the draft than anyone on the list. He's only played one season and has looked good. What is BR thinking??
Discussion of ceilings strikes me as fraught with likelihood of error. Consider a couple of examples from yesteryear. Bernard King seemed to have an incredible ceiling, yet he flamed out too soon. Ben Wallace wouldn't have seemed destined for greatness, but through hard work (and the right teammates) he became a defensive force for the ages.

Ja ceiling is just as high as many of the others outside Luka & Ant Man. Cade should be no lower than 5. Scoot is too high. Many of these guards need to improve their shooting & not just from 3. This list has little credibility
Lamelo has a higher ceiling than all these dudes especially bumbass Cade Cunningham

Dude is a melo hater lmao. He had no facts about why he thinks melo should be 9. Keeps saying he was hurt but played 3x more games than Cade last year. said he’s inefficient scorer but they’re fg% is damn near identical, melo’s 3pt% is a lot better and that’s with melo averaging 4 more points 2.4 more assists and .2 more rebounds lmao 🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤡🤡
