Just read this article from Yahoo Sports. Heavily doubt he’ll ever be traded back to Philly after what happened. But at least he seems to have a more positive mindset for this upcoming season. Anyone planning to see how Simmons does?

He kind of does this every offseason. Every year before the season starts he is shooting threes or there are pics of him looking fit and then the season starts and it’s the same old.
Maybe this is uncommon in this sub but I really do wish him well. I hope I’m wrong and he has a great season.
I have zero thoughts on it. He should’ve never had an issue with Philly in the first place. It was **his** fault he didn’t work on his offense game his whole tenure here.
I do however have thoughts about Sixer fans wanting to bring him back: You’re all delusional. He has looked horrible on the Nets.
Yeah, over the years we needed a real pg that could pass Joel the ball when he gets a position in the paint. Neither Simmons nor Harden could do this very well. As a result Joel developed a midrange game. The new problem is that our pf can’t grab a rebound. Now Ben could play as the pf in the paint in our offense; the Cs are leaving Tucker open in the corner anyways. Ben could dribble in transitions, while in half court offense we have Jo, Tyrese and Tobi to handle the ball.
You would only ever bring him back once he actually as a solid offensive season and acts like he likes basketball.
So when we loved him he wanted out and now that we hate him he wants in? We showed that man nothing but support and then decides to take a massive shit on us. Keep that aussie out of our city

Even when things were good in Philly, there were rumblings that Simmons didn’t take practice seriously and never put the work in to improve his game. As an old friend of mine used to say, “he can go fuck his self.”… that’s my thought on Simmons.
