Giannis Antetokoumpo made big news by threatening to leave the Bucks if they don’t contend for a title. He’s said things like this before but this time was different. This video explains why and says where he could land next.

  1. Giannis is being honest & doesn’t owe the bucks anything after bringing the championship home. Now the fans and media should just respect his decision where ever he goes to keep winning 🏆

  2. For Giannis I can’t fault him for wanting to leave and not sign a contract extension because he wants to win and have a chance to add more to his legacy. And wants to prove to people he can’t win on any team he on no matter the outcome and that he still got value to compete to have the passion to have a long term career. And that like he ain’t wasting time and that he wants to play the game he loves with out feeling like he not accomplish noting or feeling like a failure, and Carey that black mamba mentality of hits working hard and just coping with pain to not complain. He wants the freedom to control his career and his life, and wants to go to a place that’s home but like a place to win.

  3. @AMHoops Any possibility that Giannis goes to the Spurs and forms a twin-tower combo with Wemby?

Giannis fits the winning culture in San Antonio, plus don't they have the cap space?

  4. Saying that actual humans are “old and not worth a ton” is VERY objectifying and disrespectful. As someone with a large platform you have to watch your words and you did not do that here. At all. Please don’t talk about them like they’re cattle. It’s giving racism.

  5. Giannis is full of crap and I'll probably trade him now seeing that FA is probably out and no pieces to trade

  6. As a fan of the game I could careless he has about three years left so who cares! He can go back to greece or Africa nobody will care

  7. Okc has the most assets and would still be able keep its core while attaining giannis. Plus a young team where he can ser a future . Honestly perfect landing spot .

  8. The warriors don’t have the players to trade, the lakers have way more young talent. Period, so do the knicks

  9. The NBA no longer has stars you can root for on your team for years and years. Unless they are coming off a championship in a contract year, they just head toward a beach, or they go to NY. 3 down years? Have to leave- can’t see it through in the NBA. “Mr. I didn’t want to just join a super team” is about to do exactly that. Are there any likable stars in the NBA anymore? Sheesh.

  10. you swore up and down he was gone and that he would never win a ring in Milwaukee… you lost the right to be taken seriously

  11. Getting beat by an 8th seed that was secretly the 2nd best team in the NBA. Regular season doesn't matter in the playoffs. Bucks getting beat by Miami is nothing to be embarassed about.

  12. LEBRON HATERS be like go giannis follow your dream get another championship LOYALTY not matter as long winning championship😂😂

  13. I KNOW you did not just refer to Thanasis Antetokounmpo as an “elite role player”💀😭

  14. How did the warriors get him….. ha wow dynasty 2.0 I think he will over shadow Durrant maybe

  15. Giannis looked towards Damian Lilards example. And that Loyalty didnt help Lilard get a chip. And it has changed from Chip Or Dip, ring or bye bye.

  16. Family? Wtf, aren't his brothers in the nba too? What does he want? Toiltes next to each other so they can hold hands while taking a dump?

  17. The Spurs will have money to spend on Giannis when he becomes available. And Giannis spoke disappearing like Duncan after retirement and has great words for Wembanyama. The Spurs is in his subconscious and he will consider that team and when that happens, you will certainly get another Spurs dynasty.
