Trent jr lucky he took his player option. He is on his way out. Ujiri is great at bringing in your replacement and you train them.
Gradey ain't ready to take over yet. The way we're giving Scottie time, Gradey needs time as well. I do think the training staff is going to rush his development, but it's still going to take him time to adjust to the league. Gary is still our best option.
Chuck D said it best "Don't believe the hype!". I think G-Money fell into the ego trap. Fell in love what he does and got used to the sweetness. Things are definitely different now. Interesting season is coming. Lots of realizations are going to occur. Keep bringing it @NBAChev.
I wouldn't call Gary 1 dimensional just yet he's our best shooter, can play defense and averages at least 3 steals a night. Gradey can learn a lot from Trent, if Gary didn't resigned we'd be in a tougher spot in terms of shooting. I believe Gary will have a breakout year being under a new coach that specializes in development and pick n roll and with Fred being gone and the lack of shooting Gary will be taking on a lot, similar to what Fred had to deal with. Ultimately Gradey can score more due to his height but Gary has more experience which makes him more of a asset, its rare that you get a rookie that's NBA ready not every rookie is Scottie. But I do believe there will be some competition between these two at some point or in better case scenario Gradey would make the perfect back up SG for Trent add in Otto and you've got yourself 3 elite shooting guards that can score
Players like G Money are the most annoying of all, because you know they're better than their production says they are. But it's like they just refuse to take the next step. That's why we had to get rid of Kevin Huerter.
Should have held on to Norm and his crab style defence lol. Norm was consistent and actually had an attack style offence with a totally reliable 3 ball. When we picked up G money Everyone was always talking shit about how in 2 years gary would make norm look like a clown…. as far as im concerned Norm still has more upside than gary does. But thats just me.
G$ will start the season as a 6 man. IF he can produce at the defensive level from a few seasons ago while giving 12-15 pts with a few rebounds he'll make his playing time non-negotiable. Wonder how much he was truly injured vs being in nurse bad book?

Gary took the player option for a reason no offers they saw what we saw I don’t hate him his game has potential and he compliments the team just need more than shooting cause Grady rebounds and passes and he’ll attack the rim Gary he just shoots and picks passes but we need more good luck though cause we got lots of guards who will hustle for rebounds and pass and they don’t do to much shooting taking away from team he has another opportunity to show he can do more than 3 point shooting.
Garry got to worry about 6 foot 8 gradey & 6 foot 9 Jalen Mcdaniels. All were asking from Garry is play make a lil more & that will open up his shot.
I think and hope g money will surprise us this year.
Darko will develop both shooting guards properly. But I would trade G-Money to Jazz for Keyonte George & Olynyk.
Gary is not consistent as you mentioned. He needs to be consistent to earn his pay.
Gradey is not a guard. I think most starting wings pylon him. I see a career bench wing. Gmoney depending on $$ I'd like to keep. He's a star bucket getter player imo like j craw and Lou will
Gary will be the x-factor this upcoming season. He made clutch shots since he's with us and he will get more chance now since FVV's gone.
