Wild Card Teams For A Damian Lillard Trade

It’s been nearly two months since Damian Lillard requested a trade from the Portland Trail Blazers, and updates on negotiations between them and his preferred destination, the Miami Heat, have been sparse. There is no indication if a deal is closer or if negotiations have gained significant traction this summer. — Yossi Gozlan

  1. The only 2 reasons why I think the magic won’t trade for Dame is
1 : Even though we have a good young roster we haven’t proved anything yet. I’m not sure if Dame would even resign with us when his contract is up. Dame is on the back end of his prime and I don’t think he fits the timeline of our team

2: Portland is going to ask for franz or paolo regardless and I don’t think Weltman will even entertain those thoughts lol. Portland would still want more and giving up all three of Markelle Cole and Suggs for a 33 34 year old Dame is too much guards when they already have Scoot Shaedon and Anfernee still

  2. Get rid of Zion ASAP. For real for real. He has no discipline whatsoever. Life is about one thing: discipline. Look at Cyro for example, he puts in the YouTube work like he’s a top retainer in the nabushinge clan. Walker Kessler is gonna be the defensive player of the year this year. They won’t trade him

  3. The point off Dame to any off these teams is to play with their star of Toronto wants a superstar they have a to trade Scottie if they did could got KD
