No, you can’t be a center in this league and not be able to guard pick and roll. He was destined to be out of the league the minute teams realized they could bait him into going for a block instead of staying down and playing the action properly.
He was also terrible at passing out of double coverage. Once teams realized they could double him into a turnover we also couldn’t run any offense through him.
There was just so much wrong with his game.
If you watch what a defense is doing vs a player it’ll tell you way more about how good that player is than that players stats.
