Nikos Galis is a big time Euro scoring legend – he’s in both the Naismith & FIBA Halls of Fame. The Celtics drafted him in 1979 but cut him after he suffered an injury. He’s one of the most decorated Euro players ever. He played college ball at Seton Hall, finishing 3rd nationally in PPG behind some guy named Larry Bird.

  4. The 15th-place playoff, motivation must’ve been through the roof for players.

The mexican player refused 4 NBA countries just to be able to play for the mexican national team.

In one hand i get the pride of representing your country but on other hand, come on it was the NBA lol

  6. It makes me more sad as Korean fan bc if someone cant score 54 points we will get swept

Wow I’m honestly shocked that the Central African Republic, quite possibly the poorest nation in the world today, was sending teams to the these tournaments just a decade after independence.

I watched Lee Chung-Hee play in some Asian Games, guy was the only chance against China at the time. Great shooter
