  1. Pistons were stacked for 7 years straight. Should of definitely had 2 chips if it wasn’t for Rober Horry. That bitch.

  2. I don’t agree, Melo isn’t a team player and wouldn’t have fit into the type of game Detroit was playing at that time. Everywhere he’s gone he’s had to be the number one guy. No that’s not how Detroit did things, everyone on the floor was the number one man

  3. Here were the 4 main reasons why Detroit didn't repeat :
1-their offense was always their weakest link with (a) Radheed not dominating in the paint (b) Prince wasn't that dominant scorer they needed at that spot.
2-Dumars didn't land that big draft pick that was a keeper.
3-hiring Flip Saunders and not Bill Laimbeer didn't bring the best out in the starters.
4-marketing Ben Wallace as your franchise player basically told the NBA we don't care about scoring and in the 2006 ECF, Pat Riley made Detroit pay for keeping Wallace in games late to touch the ball.

  4. People act like Sheed was a Piston during that draft. If they drafted Melo, would they still be drafting Sheed? Also, whose to say LB plays Melo?

  5. I get tired of would of could of. They didn't keep that 04 team together long enough ! Facts and Tashaun Prince was so under rated they never gave him the credit he deserved

  6. Tf? Have yall seen Melo’s college resume? 22-10-2. Dude is 1000% starting over Prince by the all-star break. That almost dynasty Pistons squad is changing history

  7. Maybe Carmelo would have learned some defense with the Pistons and won a few

  8. That team was the only thing that can say it lined up and beat the Western All-Stars with Paul Pierce and I got tape

  9. Melo came our and took Denver back in playoffs his rookie yr. He would have been ROY if the league wasn't setting LeBron up to be the new face….

  10. I see people don't know shit about the Pistons team at that time. 1st…Larry Brown didn't play rookies. Let's start there
