Huge missed opportunity for Canada. Now they have to play freaking Spain in a de-facto Sweet Sixteen game to make the Quarterfinals. And top 2 FIBA Americas teams are the ones that auto-qualify for the Olympics. So no QF would mean another Olympic Qualifying Tournament (I guess unless all of Canada, Brazil, Puerto Rico and Dominican Republic lose on Sunday), and we all know how that goes for Canada..
If this “golden gen” doesn’t get a go at the Olympics, that would be sad.
