  1. Some of these fans want Masai to follow the trend and be like every other NBA team. But he's trying to make his own mark not be a follower.

  2. I am convince that the people who want masai fired truly have no love and acknowledgment for the game of basketball.

  3. Masai’s only mistakes were allowing that iso b.s. to sneak into our organization not once but twice.

  4. Ujiri was a pro player before he broke into the NBA. I think injuries made him change his mind. He then turned into a scout before his NBA stint.. the rest is history.

  5. Just like we had the Vince Carter affect in Canada that we now see with all the young Canadian talent coming up,
There will be a Masai affect with his giants of Africa. Players like Giannis, Pascal, Embiid will be coming up more and he is building these relationships from the ground up.

  6. Fanbase is waiting for that Racist Goofy Bish Azz 💅 🤡 🐟 💩 #Pensare Basketball to apologize and fix up to his Pops, Chev

To the part of the fanbase questioning Masai, yall are goofies who know no better and need to wake up!

All can be forgiven within the fanbase between fans if you wake up and smell the coffee 💯

    Chev, with that usual 🔥

  7. The real Don. I've known for years . He makes me proud as a black man. He does not look at colors, he knows he's part of the human race. Well deserved Mr Raptor. ❤❤❤

  8. Happy Friday. Last long weekend in Canada before school starts for the kids. Summer is officially over, folks. Anybody who thinks Masai Ujiri is NOT a top power-ranked sports executive is a fool! Those people are not rational minded and are basing their perspective from a emotional mind. Those people lack real life business acumen.

Masai dropped to #2 ranking in the NBA. Perhaps that is why there was no big fan fare. Yet, he is so highly regarded globally as a sports executive, that English Premier futbol teams were trying to recruit him during those recent contract negotiations. Let that ish marinate. This is why MLSE not only renewed his contract as President but made him Vice-Chairman on the Board of Directors. They made it easy for him to want to stay.

Masai increased Raptors team value since he's been here. Raptors team valuation was worth $400 million in 2013 when he arrived. Raptors are now worth $3.2 Billion today. Raptors have the second highest winning % in the ENTIRE NBA since 2016. Anybody who thinks MLSE will get rid of Masai because due to how the Raptors' team perform in any given season does NOT understand the basics of business. For THAT reason alone: Masai isn't going anywhere. People really think Larry Tanenbaum and Bell/Rogers are bad at math, eh…?

Casual Raptors fans who think Masai should be fired as president are bloody idiots. These fools don't understand what GM Bobby Webster's role is—who Masai HIRED…? Just a hop, skip and jump right to Masai when pointing the finger. These fools honestly think Masai is the GM…?!

Give Masai (and Bobby Webster) five feet and respect.

  9. Why This Is Happening

1)Writer with no job security realizes they get paid for clicks.
2)Writer needs a steady stream of things people will click on.
3)It is summer and nothing is happening in the NBA but they still got bills to pay and content to produce.
4)After many articles that few people clicked on, writer makes headline "Raptors Trade Siakam in this Blockbuster…"
5)People wet themselves when they read the headline, click on it, and realize this is just some rando on the internet with a "what-if."
6)The writer gets paid during the slow part of the year when it's hard to get paid.
7)That writer makes more clickbait, makes more money.
8)More writers imitate the successful one.
9)The number of these headlines and frequency of them convinces some of the fanbase that something is going to happen.
10)Those fans start talking about the crazy bs the writer made up.
11)So many people are talking about silly nonsense that even people who know it's silly nonsense have to engage with it.

If we can prevent step 5 this whole problem will take care of itself. Don't feed the troll, don't click the bait.

  10. Who God bless, no man curse! People want Masai to follow other GM's because there is a belief in tanking to build a championship on the cheap side. Masai has a strategy that works, and many are impatient to see Masai rebuild that strategy. We will get to the promise land!

  11. I’m not religious, but I learned later in life that faith is very powerful. It can take you very far, if you let it. I gotta problem with the flip floppers that wanna change sides as soon as things gets hard like it wasn’t always hard. If you wanna “trust in Masai,” you gotta die with the ship.

  12. Throughout the offseason, the media was constantly criticizing us for being too difficult to business with. Masai was still voted second best executive. That should tell you something.

  13. Im grateful for Mesai 👏 Anyone who says he should go after bringing us our first championship is a hater and just looking for attention. I think most fans know this.
You should do those youtube vote things and ask your followers stuff like that, you would get some more likes and comments, a ball park number of how many of us think he's a bad gm, etc. and you won't even have to make a video!
Thanks for the great content Chev 💯

  14. Great conversation OG 💎💎💎… Can’t wait till the season starts. 🫡🫡

  15. luckily I haven't seen anybody say they want masai gone but I'm sure there are those people that exist. those people want masai gone because they so desperately wanted this team to rebuild. he doesn't believe in that. he believes a team can grow and develop while still being able to compete. that's what a winner mindset is all about and that should be every team. "oh but the team won't get high draft picks" since has this team needed a top 5 pick to select and develop a good player? drafts are there to inject some youth into your team and projects to develop, it is necessary and useful but teams that heavily rely on it havent been very successful. this team has the youth necessary to develop a winning team, and they have a core thats very capable of winning themselves. free agents aren't coming to save this team. trust in the team's plan.

  16. The nba media just hates anything canada. If he was with any other team, they would be praising him every day.
