Remembering The Heat’s 27 Game Win Streak

In early February of 2013, the Miami Heat embarked on a historic winning streak. Led by the Big 3 of LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, and Chris Bosh, the Heat won 27 consecutive games. They went unbeaten for nearly two months and came the closest any team ever has to breaking the 1972 Lakers’ record of 33 straight wins. The Heat’s win streak included some legendary performances, some down to the wire nail bitters, and some iconic dunks from LeBron. Today we remember the 2013 Heat’s Legendary 27 Game Winning Streak.

  1. That winning streak was something to remember and when the Bulls beat them I was kinda shocked

  2. As a Laker fan I was happy watching the Bulls beat them and Mike Breen saying “the Lakers streak is safe”.

  3. You guys make my day better every time you post a new video!!

Also I love your longer videos!!

  4. You guys are my favorite channel on YouTube. No one does these retrospective style vids like you two

  5. This was the most juxtaposition time in the NBA for me because I'm a Lakers fan, but LeBron James is my favorite player. So, I'd be watching the Lakers get destroyed all season, but LeBron James winning MVP and Finals MVP. Literally every time the Lakers played the Heat, I didn't know how to react. And every other game was just a different emotion.

  6. That game when the Heat fans left the game because they thought the heat were gonna lose was a priceless moment in NBA history xD

  7. Joakim Noah, Nate Robinson, Luol Deng and Carlos Boozer, who belonged to the Chicago Bulls, the rival team of LeBron's Miami Heat, are now retired, but they were excellent NBA players.

  8. 65-17 Houston Rockets had a 3 10+ winning streak in 2017-18 season sadly couldn't get a ring

  9. LeBron James in 2013 was in his peak form. Not only was his athleticism at his best, but he also improve his rebounding, passing, and defense, but he was also shooting 40% from 3, which was a career high for him. To put the last stat in context, the best way for teams to defend him back then would be to sag off, so that he can only attempt to shoot instead of driving to the rim, where he would have gotten a layup or a foul. Oh yeah, and he was shooting 56% from the FG, which is even for impressive because he was a small forward who made his buckets by either driving to the basket or shooting.

Dude finished second in the running for Defensive Player of the Year, made an All-Defensive First Team, and he was also one vote away from becoming the first unanimous MVP before Steph Curry. That one vote went to Carmelo Anthony, who had a pretty great year for himself in 2013.

  10. remember a away game against the hawks they were down 10 in the 3rd and outscored the Hawks 40-17 in the fourth

  11. All of Chicago hated the heat and honestly it was so much fun watching our team of role players take down the HEAT

  12. I love when you guys talk about the Heat so I've been waiting on THIS video! I think about this streak every so often, what a time. This was early high school for me.

  13. I hated that team so much I was so happy when the bulls ended it !! Saving my Lakers record 🤣🤣👌🏽❤️💯

  14. I was at the blazer nets game when the heat lost to the bulls to snap their winning streak. I think reggie evans had 20 rebs for the nets

  15. Please make a video about Greg oden I’m a huge fan of him from Ohio state and wish he would’ve panned out in Portland without the injuries

  16. I’m glad I found your channel. You guys have been bringing me back to when I was in elementary and middle school watching the nba. Also filling in a lot details I missed at that time.

  17. Before starting this video I wanna just say I have trauma from the LeBron gw vs Boston for win #22 or #23, Jeff Green had the game of his life

  18. Do the Raptors title run in 2019 with Kawhi. That is seriously underrated. That in my opinion deserves a retrospect!

  19. Man I miss this team so much! I wanted Lebron to go back to Miami just so I could have a taste of nostalgia

  20. Underrated Lebron accomplishment that im surprised his fans don’t bring up. Very impressive

  21. That comeback vs the cavs at Cleveland where Bron hits the pull up 3 to tie and does the “Silencer” celebration while the whole crowd boing/cheering is PEAK VILLAIN LEBRON 💯

  22. Man, I was in the 6th grade when all this was going down. I was in class and all I could think about was watching ‘Bron and the Heat every other night. I couldn’t wait to go home and watch them play. That streak was amazing, bro!

  23. The bulls were probably the last team that had a chance of snapping the streak before the heat could break the record. One of the best games I’ve ever watched

  24. This is what the heat were expected to be and why weren’t very well liked outside of Miami fans or fans of Bron and Wade. Still impressive and this team had an insane playoff run

  25. 11:00 or after jus da fact dat LBJ ain't wanna F wit Boozer instantly cut him from best ever. Cuz MJ or Kobe woulda flashed on dat cat

  26. the Mustard yellow jersey's are Cleveland's best. Undisputed GOAT of Cleveland jersey's

  27. That Block Nate had on Bron changed the momentum of the game ! And this winning streak started right when they got Birdman he made a huge impact on the team and the second unit.

  28. The Nba does seem scripted!! Sports are just entertainment!! I need to worry about my own life!! Facts.

  29. Another fun fact, the Heat were also the only team that year to have beaten every team at least once.

  30. I found your channel about few months ago and you guys quickly became my FAVOURITE sports show!

The chemistry you two have is amazing!

  31. I’m from LA area and I remember being at a bar for the Bulls vs Heat game (the streak ender) and how many Laker fans there were at the bar rooting for the Bulls to end the Heats streak. Understandable since it was the Lakers streak on the line , but it’s kind of funny looking back on it considering most of those Laker fans would be pro LeBron now loll
