In 2022 TyTy Washington was a promising young first round talent for the Houston Rockets, In 2023 he’s been traded 4 times and is out of the NBA, what happened?

Very very good video u earned a subscription
Boston Celtics could use him…
I rarely say a player wasnt given a chance but considering the 2 rosters he had a place on 1 was barely giving touchs to its most recent 3rd overall pick and the other had a roster of like 20 people going into this year it really feels like this guy ended up on the 2 worst possible situations for a higher draft pick to develop, he will probably get picked up on a 10 day after a few injuries next year but im pretty doubtful he ever has a proper nba opportunity after this point.
Great Video
realistically speaking id love to see him on the wizards i feel like thatd be a great place for him to get real minutes off our bench and more focus as well
Talk about nikola jovic
I'm I'm this kids corner. He at least deserves a Real Chance.
Rockets fan here, TyTy put himself out of the NBA. He tried to come in to be a Scorer when it was clear the Rockets was not expecting that of him.
At the time, we need a back-up PG to KPJ and this dude was just setting himself up for his own shots and wasnt trying to run the offense and set the guys up.
Spurs would be a great place for him..he can grow with Wemby and the young core
This is what happens when travel basketball and the NCAA are your development system. If these young talents were in club systems without the over emphasis on scoring, it would be easier for a good young player to find a spot on a team but no one wants bench players with low efficiency and defensive instability.
PG is the deepest position in the league. It's really crowded and tough to get meaningful court time. And Silas I think really under-utilized a number of the players (Jabari and Sengun most of all). TyTy will find work. Maybe abroad. And may be back.
Come to the bucks
Toronto and Washington, or maybe Detroit if they’re going to let Hayes walk next year.
the league is so deep at the guard positions. tyty in atlanta was like sharife cooper, slated to be the backup point guard to trae young but it didnt pan out in the end. hes way too talented to not have a spot in the league and maybe some time overseas or more in the g league will benefit him long term.
It's so heartbreaking to see such talent go unrecognized this year. I just hope he'll bounce back stronger and find a team that appreciates his skills.
I blame Silas
Tyty Has most recently signed a Two-way contract with The Bucks.
I would also like to add some depth and perspective as a Rockets fan.
First and foremost we shouldve never added tyty Usman or even Josh… they we valuable picks that we did nothing with, and ended up having to GIVE AWAY for basically free. While we had that dummy of a head coach, he was doing a bunch of stupid things, that overall made no sense and cost the Rockets down the line. As you mentioned he for some reason didnt play tyty meaningful minutes at all. He completely screwed over his first season in the NBA. On another note, we shouldnt have drafted those playes and instead we shouldve traded the picks to get vets earlier that wouldve in turn made thing so much easier down the line. (Like not desperately needing Fred VanVleet and Dillion Brooks to give us direction)
To explain better Houston had a plethra of guards and young talent, and Silas was in the position to test them all out and experiment which he absolutely didnt do. Bad coaching, and having little to NO vets led to the Houston rockets to being the team you know them as of now. Having so many problems with rotations they shouldve never added the picks they added, and instead traded them off for future assest or Real NBA vets that could've help mold The futrues Stars of Jalen Green, alpren Sengun and eventually Jabari smith, and make the Rockets look like a much more competent organization.
You said the Rockets have no direction with what they're doing with their guards, thats false. The Rockets now under the prestigious Ime Udoka have been trying to shift the culture and build a team known of defense, hunger, and shooting. They weeded out the Guards they're going to Keep, Nailed the 2023 NBA draft, and are going in an upward trajectory. This team is miles better than they were last year.
Too much talent in the NBA. Time for expansion.
Great, just my luck. Just pulled rookie auto out of optic. What a garbage card. 5$ maybe
Rockets fan here. Cause he's too short and vulnerable on defense. He plays like CP3 with his own chill pace but he cant defend.
