    Incredibly young country as well. In 2021, 66% of the population was aged 24 and below.

    In 2021 and 2016, they only sent a few runners to do track events, nome of whom qualified by hitting an Olympic standard (although Guar Marial’s PB was an Olympic Standard).

    This is a first for South Sudan.

    Do any of these teams from Africa actually have players that live in the country they are representing? The Nigerian team is almost all players born and raised in America
