Also props to PR. If they didn’t beat the Dominicans this game could’ve been completely meaningless.

PR couldn’t capitalize on Italy’s horrendous 3 point shooting, with their own horrible TOs and giving up way too many offensive rebounds, and eventually Italy found the touch again.
Some Italian poster was saying how Datome is washed and shouldn’t be on the team, but after starting the comeback against Serbia last game, it was him again that scored a few buckets when this game was in the balance to start things up.
Compare this to Finland, who struggled this tourney without their veterans, this really shows how valuable a veteran player can be.
