The New York Knicks had upgrades to make this offseason but this is the first offseason in a long time where the Knicks didn’t have to worry about or even think about the point guard position. After what seems like a decade, the Knicks have stability at the PG position with the signing of Jalen Brunson. Brunson had a breakout season with the New York Knicks last year and is currently the lead guard for Team USA. Jalen Brunson not only makes the Knicks a consistent playoff team, but he also offers the Knicks something we haven’t seen since Carmelo Anthony. Troy Mahabir breaks all of this down!

Getting Brunson was a blessing and it is what Knick fans needed to lift their spirits because it’s been a while since we had a leader and with that being said we still need another all star to take some of the burden off Brunson and Randle is not it, we are projected to be in 15th place overall and hopefully make it out of the first round. That sounds like a mediocre season if that and being a life long Knick fan I am not satisfied with that. If we don’t have the pieces to make a Championship run then what’s the point because we all know if the Knicks are losing or winning the Garden will be sold out so does it matter to the ones calling the shots if we get another all star and actually make a run to achieve something worth celebrating.
He’s not the damn best player on the team.. he is good but until he can effect the game more than just scoring efficiently.. there is a thing called defense..
Jalen Brunson is going to bring us a Championship as long as we keep the Young Guns together
