The Detroit Pistons are unlikely to sign Killian Hayes to a rookie-scale extension before the October 17 deadline, according to James L. Edwards III of The Athletic. Hayes, who has one season left on his rookie deal, will be eligible for a $9.9 million qualifying offer next offseason. The Pistons drafted guard Marcus Sasser and traded for Monte Morris this offseason. — James L. Edwards III/The Athletic

In all seriousness I wish the best for the guy. If he was drafted lower I don’t think he’d be criticized as much (obviously). He’s good defensively. Just cannot score the ball worth shit although he’s a good playmaker
not surprised. had 4 years to prove himself but managed to be one of the worst players in the league
Let's see how he does in 2023, which is his "natural" Rookie year. (Killian is Class of 2023)
