Mike Ehrmantraut’s words still resonate with me to this day… 😪

“All of this – falling apart like this – is on you! We had a good thing, you stupid son of a bitch! We had Steph, we had a squad, we had everything we needed, and it all ran like clockwork! You could have shut your mouth, hooped, and won as many rings as you ever needed! It was perfect! But no! You just had to blow it up! You, and your pride and your ego! You just had to be the man! If you’d done your job, known your place, we’d all be fine right now!”

I was happy to watch perhaps the best team ever. But I am also not sad that he is gone.

Time to move on man. Dudes on his second team since us.

Yo we are such an entitled fan base lol if this is any sort of litmus. I have so much gratitude for being able to have the past decade in the memory bank.

Got four championships… literally the only team with multiple titles in the last decade.

We are so blessed. Thanks Steph. Thanks Klay. Thanks Dray. Thanks Andre. Thanks KD. Thanks Loon. Thanks Steve. Thanks Bob. Hell thanks Mark Jackson lol.

My childhood was spent wondering if we’d ever be good enough to KEEP A GREAT PLAYER IF WE EVER DRAFTED ONE. Since we had a habit of trading away dudes or they left before they ever peaked.

If we never win again I have all these memories to look back on… magical era we have witnessed.

So juxtaposed to OPs sentiment… everything that has happened since 1989. I wouldn’t have wanted to go any other way if the reward for surviving the post-TMC Cohen era is the Steph Era.

Not sad one bit about KD or any “could’ve been”… it’s been awesome!

Dude helped us win 2 titles, fans that had to watch those bad teams of the past appreciate what he did. It’s not like he bailed on us like Baron did
