The Houston Rockets were one of the worst teams this past season, but players like Jalen Green, Alperen Sengun, Amen Thompson, and Jabari Smith Jr give them potential for the future. With the most money to spend in the NBA this offseason they had a semi re-tool and they brought in some interesting free agents, including Fred VanVleet and Dillon Brooks. Let’s take a look at this new look Rockets squad.

6th seed
I expect them to be competing for the play-in at the least, 6,7th seed at the most. This will be the year we get back to competing.
They’ll fight for a play in spot. Defensively they have gotten 10x better. I like what vanvleet brings also. Playmaking and he can play off ball. Amazing 3 point shooter. Dillon brings obviously defense but he is a wild card. Jock landale and Jeff green I love those pick ups. Especially Jeff green. Beginning of the season might be shaky but I think they can bring it together and fight for a play in spot. And that’s all I can ask for. Improvement. I know the west is stacked but I don’t wanna be in the same position as last year
Absolute mess of an organization.
Bad player development. Bad culture. Bad roster construction.
I imagine that Van vleet Will be more like a mentor a Amen. In my opinión, ime will try to use the good things that the Rockets already had, for example there rebounding ability. Last year they ranked 4th overall
