He’s absolutely right and anyone who watched him knows this.

Rondo was terror, absolute rarity how he saw the floor. He understood the chess board from the jump.

Kobe was really precise in his movement and mechanics but it seemed more like a result of hard work than natural intuition
StKd0t
Rondo embarrassed Westbrook in the bubble and exposed his flaws yet LeGM still recruited him to the Lakers
GlueGuy00
there’s a time where Rondo is the best PG in the league

I don’t really remember Rondo as a cerebral player, I remember him as a guy that chased assists and played on teams with all-time greats

It’s funny how NBA smarts get obsessed over like it’s some mythological secret knowledge that only certain savants can access.
And then you hear an example of “smarts” and it’s stuff like Rondo knew Ray Allen liked shooting step backs to his left so he passed it to him a bit different in certain situations. Like yeah it’s good awareness but…
Rondo has one of the highest b-ball iq’s ever I better not see any fucking disrespect in this thread

Its hillarious how petty Rondo is. I remember when someone asked him about Chris Paul in a post game interview he wouldn’t even say Chris’s name. He just called him #3 on the other team. That was always one of the best rivalrys just cause of how smart and competitive those two guys are.

10 years ago it was common belief that Rondo forced things in his prime and looked for the highlight as much as anything else. Duncan, Paul, Jokic are just a few of the guys who you’d have to put into that conversation.

Rondo So smart he didn’t know he’d torn is acl.

Completely misleading BS headline. Delete the post.

It’s great how Rondo never forgave Ray Allen. Boston will always have a ton of love for him. We nurture lifelong grudges up here as a hobby.

He was assist hunter. Stat padder

If Rondo never had all the injuries he would be an undeniable first ballot hall of famer unfortunately he’s “just” someone that was a menace for four or five years and was an important player late in his career for a championship team
Flyinwater
And that is how desparate Rondo wanting to join Lakers next season.

Good players tell you how great they were. Great players, everyone else tells you how great there were.

He said on the court
That explains why he didn’t get along with Kidd
