Embiid isn’t going anywhere. There’s no team who he would want to go to (and that would want him) that Morey would get even an acceptable return.

Dude has yet to stay healthy and do ANYTHING in the most relevant games since Day One. He was signed in 2014 and didn’t play AT ALL until 2016 bc of his injuries. It’s 2023 now and you think he’s gonna get healthy and stronger now?!

Personally I don’t see anything wrong with what he said, the guy said he wants to win a championship whether it’s with the Sixers or not. Embiid is not off the hook but if the Sixers don’t do anything to help him out then he’s not gonna want to be part of a rebuild cuz he’s too old for that now.
One theory – there's a chance he/his agent learned or sensed Morey is shopping him behind closed doors just to see what options exist and feeling offended, wanted to get ahead of it and act as if that's acceptable to him when in actuality he takes it personally. This would tie in the Morey-troll tweet.
Embiid is going to be a Kevin Durant, James Harden, Chris Paul, Kyrie Irving type in this new eara of the NBA, when it gets controversial they demand a trade to a team where they'll feel comfortable. They only play good in the regular season when it's easy and can't elevate their game when it's a must. And the Sixers enabled this shit because they don't know how to develop players. Embiid needs a serious reality check or GTFOH. The James Harden trade was the worst thing to happen to this team. Why would you trade a toxic personality for another one In Harden? Ben Simmons the king of getting paid millones for doing nothing. Morey should be fired. No one in this organization cares about winning. embid wont win a chip in philly.. he will probably win one when he is near retirement as a backup on a lucky team. he doesnt make his teammates better and is often injured when he is needed most. Aside from all that .. he also loves to throw his teammates under the bus year after year.. cant wait to see nick nurse take shots at him thru the media .. instead of addressing him head on .. i think he wont be in philly for the long term
