Lets be honest the true reason harden is unhappy is because he has too be the 2nd option. He doesn’t like the scrutiny, along with, the options that the 76ers have available so he think he’ll go to the clippers and if they lose it’s on the other players and he’ll just lose and collect.

Players that care enough about winning put the effort toward playing defense. James Harden has always been a losing player and it looks as though the league is finally catching up to that fact. One of the most overrated players in the past decade.

Common sense would seem to dictate that no GM who believes his team has a legitimate shot at winning a title would want to obtain Harden . First, he will be discontented unless you offer to give him a new contract as soon as the season ends for at least 3 more years with sums of more than his current compensation . Second, his playoff history speaks for itself . Third, the assets you will give up will at least be useful role players who could not just benefit your team in the playoffs but could be use to obtain other players that you may need later on in the season if key players are lost to injury. There is no doubt that Harden had a very good regular season last year and he can certainly improve many teams regular season record but that is the limit of his benefit .
Roster is also different all the bench players are gone one of their best 3pt shooter os gone because Morey didnt want to pay anyone Morey cannot build contending teams because when ownership cries about money they let players leave.

Imagine if janitors showed up to work and told their employers they wanted to work elsewhere for more money while not working hard for the promotion. In soccer every player who finishes the regular game has to take a penalty, that's if nobody misses or if the score is still even, that includes the goalie.
