  1. the narration over the highlights is soo good.

    love it.

Same people who were saying why he’s a bad fit before?

Multiple defensive metics have Wood as a pretty average defender spanning the last 5 seasons. He can’t be worse than Thomas Bryant, and his offense is better too.

This is such a good signing especially if AD is out. Our offense will still be great and defense will take a hit no matter what when AD is not on the court.

We still have hayes, and another roster spot for another center if someone doesn’t work out

I’m cautiously optimistic about the signing. Happy we have another rough but his track record says another thing

Uh oh, Tim, you’re going to upset a lot of people in this sub with this post. Twitter and Instagram comments have told them that Wood is a locker room cancer, journeyman, black hole, low motor, traffic cone defender with absolutely zero shot at having any sort of upside whatsoever, especially on a minimum contract.

Javale McGee, Dwight Howard, and an undrafted rookie were obviously way better options.

  6. This video seems overly optimistic but I hope he does well.

  7. Dang I was just about to post this video breakdown. Nonetheless it was solid and I appreciated the added context.

This whole sub is gonna turn on him in a day lmao

Love how Rob is going big for championship this year. He signed him for $2.7M this year and $3M next year with player option. That’s incentive to play your ass off this year if you wanna get back to the $14+M price tag. Win a ring and get that money. A $2.7M guy might become our top #3-5 player. 🧑‍🍳

    Hey Tim,

Do you think woods could be gasolesque on this team in terms of his passing with the 2nd unit

I feel like we are going to see a big drop off in playmaking in the switch from Dennis to Gabe leaving lebron, reaves, dlo as our only playmakers making the 2nd unit bare depending on who sits

“In the Alex Caruso range” … B please. The Caru-show is ELITE defensively.

  12. Bro I’m so hype about getting him. People are already starting the trench wars of who should play above who.

12 months ago we were praying Kendrick Nunn could play 25 minutes per game for us. Can we just enjoy having a DEEP ass team ??

  13. Hey Tim, great vid! With Wood being better as a mobile big than as a paint defender, do you expect to see him get mins next to AD or Hayes? At least on paper, he slots in nicely next to AD.

I think he’s talented but overrated. Poor screener, team defender, on court comminucator. However, at this depth ton a roster it’s a no brainer.

Wow great video, Dallas and their media did wood very very dirty.
