Good for you Charles calling people out on their idolotry. Well done. Also whenever we hear someone getting torn down to build up someone else, there's probably a problem there. This whole GOAT debate imo is a waste of human resources. Appreciate the greatness in each player. There is NOTHING gained in that debate. It tears some down to elevate others. Jealousy, envy, hatred, these sins destroy people. I have to think that some of these people have lost the ability to appreciate the game for itself, and the great things these players can do. It seems the all star game these days is a symptom of this sickness, or a related one. They don't compete because i am not sure some of them really love the game for itself, the way Larry magic and Mike did. They love fan adulation, and some supposed legacy, but do they really love the game?? If they do then prove it by competing again in the all star game. Or else it should be canceled for something else where they do actually compete.
