Song – “Chose Violence” by Kaygo Gotti. Go Give him a listen here:
Mac McClung went from high school phenom to dunk contest champion, but is still struggling to get a guaranteed contract. Now he’s with the Orlando Magic fighting for a spot on a roster that’s already loaded with back court talent.

So true
I bet KP would probably throw shade at the kid cause of his own prejudices unfortunately. But what do we expect from that lane except brain dead takes and unhinged lies. McClung def deserves a roster spot somewhere it’s crazy he’s not anywhere . He seems like a fit for a team like Miami
My man Mac can ball flat out, he's fast can shoot, protects the ball can play in a system, they need to give him a chance, he's a winner
I wish the Wizards signed him .
i want to apologize brother but i couldn't watch your video on Mac. i am still so pissed off that we let this kid go, we could have hid him in santa cruz or something. he will be a very good player
Warriors should have kept him. If he ends up going overseas he will get paid but it will be an indictment of the NBA.
What is the real season he is being blackballed by the NBA?
Let's tell the truth here. He's not been very good when given the opportunity in the NBA
I get why early on NBA teams were wary of him at first, he is short by NBA standards, didn't have a knock down shooting stroke and had more of an SG game than a PG game. Then he laid an egg with his first summer league performance with the Lakers while the other rookie Austin Reaves shined. However, through determination and hard work he has transformed his game averaging over 6 assists a game and increased his 3 pt. percentage to an eye popping 48%. Then, despite a coach that seemed determined to bury him on the bench, proved he was the best PG on the team by leading his team to the G league title. He's only had the opportunity to play in a few NBA games but stood out with his excellent play and elite athleticism. I thought perhaps the stink of his early questionable play was hanging on still but he's performed so well it seems unbelievable that NBA teams don't realize he has the ability to progress as a player (not all players can do that) and transform his game. I suspect the optics of a white guy who looks like he could be from the 50's era is the main reason he's not getting a legit shot, they're giving him a token look because he's played so well and they can't completely ignore the numbers he put up but they just don't feel like they can market him like they could other players with a more appropriate skin tone. If his last name as Ball, Pippen or James, he'd have been given plenty of opportunity to prove his worth on the court by now. Hopefully, the Orlando organization will dispense of the prejudice against him and give him a real opportunity to develop his game.
Could it be because he's light skinned 😬
He has proven that he belongs in the NBA. Look at the rising stars game this past year where he outshined the "rising stars lineup from the NBA as a "G-Leaguer". The NBA has been doing him dirty the past 2 years. People who know basketball knows this. They refuse to give him minutes because he will prove that he belongs there if they give him a real shot. For some reason, they don't want him there. Maybe because they have their "token white American" with Austin Reaves? There's no other reason. There's zero excuse. Also, he is 6'2…same height as Bronny James. But people don't say anything about Bronny's height and have been saying he's going to be in the NBA since he was in like 10th grade. Mac is better than Bronny. People say that he is "undersized" because they now believe that a guard has to be 6'6 or above. Look at all the guards Mac's height and shorter who have been all stars or legends. 6'2 is just fine. Especially with his vertical. And the Magic is not a good team for him at all. So many teams he could actually start for who have trash guards that he is better than. His agent is obviously trash. He doesn't have a famous last name and he's a white American. Let's speak the facts.
Edit: Also, please tell me why the 76ers let him go when they have Harden acting like a diva and doesn't wanna be there?? The 76ers need Mac a lot more than the Magic. Imagine playing a game and having a 20/9/9 stat line (with 5 forced turnovers) and then be kicked from the team?!? All while having your starting point guard acting like Harden is right now. It makes zero sense. They don't play him because he will do better than high draft picks and they don't want people to see that.
Mcclung is the opposite of a bust. His exepectations are low, he doesnt get noticed, and he is out here making the most of every opportunity and has already proven hes better than many who are actual busts yet out there playing 30 minutes a game every season to do nothing. WHEN, Mac gets in and shines, it will be the result of nothing else than his persistence, hard work and confidence in his game. This gym rat is probably working on his game for 15 hours a day. How do you think he went from a beliw average shooter to one of the best in 18 months? Hes not done..
Have him kneel during the national anthem and spew wokeness and he’ll be on any team
Awesome video BTW. When you actually look at the FACTS, and break it all down and compare with others, Mac is obviously worthy of an NBA contract. Hopefully he gets one soon. We need more videos like this though 👍
