  1. Dudes be reaching.. he probably said if you do what is asked of you you’ll get a big role …

  2. This feels almost a lot like Darvin Ham's "Facts over feelings" 😂. Let's see how he delivers with his promise

  3. Bro… D-Lo, Austin, Injury Bron, Hachimura, and Injury AD aint a good starting lineup. Who's defending perimeter players?

  4. I neither love nor hate this move since it's pretty much a signing on a vet minimum (lol). Basically, Lakers have nothing to lose and everything to gain if Wood turns out to be a solid fit on their roster this upcoming season. Otherwise, he might end up spending the rest of his pro career overseas as an NBA washout. Best of luck to him, but I'm not gonna be holding my breath either…
    🙄🤷

  5. Okay so going back to start of offseason-
Lopez was obviously the best big available
Where does Wood rank on the list?

  6. As the greedy Laker fan that I am…. Wouldn't it be awesome to get Biyombo now as well?!?!

  7. The fact that CW is still complaining about Mavs might be an indication that he still isn't willing to grow up even now

  8. I believe the "big" role is in part due to AD and LeBron being able to further minimize their overall minutes. CWood will allow these two Lions to BE the difference at the end!

  9. Seems like everytime I come on and show it's always something negative with you. Which is why I wish I could find another Lakers information source cuz you get on my damn nerves. 🤨

  10. There should be no turmoil with Coach Ham stating that he sees Woods playing a big role with the team; given both Bron and AD miss about 20 games a year collectively. Additionally, considering that if you had an additional 20 point scorer last season against the Nuggets, then the Lakers likely advance to the Western Conference Championship.

The reason that that comment is not a slight to Rui nor Vando, is both players are not only valued but where on the team that lost to the Nuggets— conceivably, both players have what they had and we were swept. We needed another big against the Nuggets, as the team needed AD to play big on both ends of the court consistently to be in the fight!

  11. Everyone needs to stop getting so roused and rock-hard about kristenwood statement regarding always wanting to be a Laker. Every player who gets waved or doesn't get re-signed in the NBA and is a free agent being left out in the sun to dry will say whatever they need to in order to be picked up by a team. If Christian would wanted to be a Laker so bad, why is it taking him this long to do so? He's a scrub, and he knows that. And he's saying everything he's wanting to and trying to stay in order to be picked up by a team because he is mid. Chillout Laker Nation, have you not noticed that everyone who comes to the Lakers has always wanted to be a Laker in their life? Stop the cap.

  12. IMO coaching is never an easy solution/job…but can be an easy problem…just look at KD/SUNS arc. Dude that gets coach of the year and the team to the first finals since the chuck era gets bounced by a guy that wasnt even there when the COACH himself was putting in work…to make them such a destination in the first place. Even CP3 another dude that would get co credit for that teams playoff success/pedigree bounced. Bi actually liked vangundy bc he said he always held him accountable/to a higher standard bc if he wanted to be considered a star/the guy…its how the rules of the game are written. Just a whole mentality shift to instead of wanting to be praised/patted on the back theres this "i can always do/get better" mentality. Like the coach sees it in you theyre not calling you out/failing to praise you…but that they think youre capable of even BETTER or dont ever want you to think youve hit your ceiling. So some coaches are og and are on you like a dog/hawk not bc theyre MEAN or etc…but bc theyre trying to forge that X factor out of you that "what its going to take" mentality. Well c for wood, bc watching ayton in PHX since his draft is pretty sorry i wonder if theyll actually have more or less "YIELDS" with him and that roster and scrimmages and set/plays actions where hes actually ready for the ball/in position to score get chippys etc….much like malone was easily developed into alongside stockton. Stockton was just a dude that answered the call….every damn night….and you couldnt tell by looking at him….says a lot about this era NGL where image is everything….and apparently narrative is too…as if they werent saying rui was a sorry defender critiquing his skillset into the league and as we acquired him…as he proceeded to play his ass off on both ends….for a fanbase that wouldnt hesitate to appreciate it bench player or otherwise.

  13. Rui starting over Vanderbilt??? Fuck no lol our defense was top 3 in the league and hes a big reason why. Smh

  14. I need Gabe as a starter!!!! Need to adjust this roster based off LBJ’s play style. We all know, Lebron is the only one we can trust.

    Starter:
    Reeves
    Gabe
    LBJ
    Rui
    AD

    Bench:
    Cam / D.Lo (trade asset)
    Vando
    Prince
    Wood
    Hayes

  15. Stretch big that can be on the floor together with AD or Hayes. Also can carry on as scoring threat with AD off the floor. I hope Lebron’s intensity and AD’s defensive mindset rubs off on Wood

  16. C. Wood should have a big year simple fact last year before the kyrie trade he had be the 2nd 3 rd best player on the MAVS and that to me not who he is a ,he might can b the 3rd best player on a champion team at most be on this LA team he don't have that pressure he'll be the like 5th 6th best player on this champion team that perfect for him cuz he don't got worry bout the team best defensive big AD draw that attention so he can freely play get easy bucket nd I think he be great add to the team offensively he make us very very tuff to defend we'll have size and shootin nd speed lineup and another big body for joker nd AD get to play that free safety 4 that roam block shots, like to he a 5 dat space da floor and that is so underrated in today game to make game easy for the team… now all he need do put on 8-13 lbs of muscle and buy in on D man we might just coast to back to back worst case and trav right about fightin for mins he'll be a great trade asset at the dead line with that 2 year deal so the team we trade him to don't have worry bout him walking and he low risk at 2.85 a year just above the vet min man Rob did it again we goin be a tuff out ,deep and talent nd young we ain't say that last 3 years

  17. I respect Trevor, Sean, and the Optimist's opinion that C-Wood shouldn't start with AD especially when the Lakers are playing teams with a traditional big. However, I wouldn't be surprised if Pelinka assured Wood of a starter's role to entice him to sign with the Lakers. It's the same tactic Rob used to sign Andre Drummond and Dennis Schroeder.

I don't see anything wrong with this as long as the assurance comes with a caveat that if the AD+Wood pairing doesn't pan out, Wood will head back to the bench.

  18. I have watched your videos for awhile now and truly enjoy what you deliver. Huge lebron, and also Lakers fan for years now. You deserve all the likes and subs for your channel. Definitely subscribed now, and I wish I would have done it sooner. Extremely excited for this new team and I can't wait for the season to start.
