  1. very well said. Harden priority, food, ugly fashion, strippers and being a groupie for Lil Baby or whoever is the hot rapper of the moment

  2. Excellent commentary. Two things: First, let's not forget in Westbrook's first season with the Lakers, he led the team in assists, rebounds, and steals, while coming in second to LeBron in scoring, so he is still that dude. The problem in L.A. was the lack of differentiation between Westbrook and LeBron. Westbrook was willing to play Robin to LeBron's Batman, but holding Russ back is like shaking a warm champagne bottle. It's not a case of if it will blow, but when. Notice when Westbrook came off the bench and led the second team, you then saw the playmaker/distributor/field general at work. I've lived in Los Angeles longer than Magic, so believe me when I tell you the hype machine is off the chains here, especially when the team is losing. That is, unless it's Kobe doing the losing. (His last three seasons in L.A.: 27-55, 21-61, and 17-65.)

Second, Harden to the Clippers would be a huge step backwards. Despite the energy and seeming reckless abandon, Russ is a team-first player. As his time in L.A. and Houston shows, he will defer to the defacto "team leader", even to his and the team's detriment. Harden is more accomplished than Westbrook, but I believe with Ty Lue, Westbrook is far more valuable to the franchise than Harden could hope to be. Ty Lue has already come out and said that Westbrook will be the team leader this coming season. Russ has yet to receive a vote of confidence at that level yet in his career. The OKC front office never had plans to compete for a title, unlike the Clippers. Harden had everything he needed to get to the Finals last season, but he still had to take that trip to Vegas before the Boston series, and completely disappear in games six and seven. I put Harden calling Morey a liar right up there with Simmons using the Philly fans as an excuse to walk away from the team. Once again, Joel is going to have to put on his cape and lead the team until the Harden situation is resolved, because the trust is absolutely broken.

  3. Yeah but Holiday is a better player than Harden. He actually plays defense where Harden isn’t subpar he is low on the depth chart to the point of nonexistent defender.
