[Reynolds] I’m at USA practice. There’s a coffee shop in the lobby. A lady, unprompted, sees my credential and revealed that she booed Dillon Brooks last night. “And I did it because I love LeBron.” With that, she walked away.

Babe, wake up. New copypasta just dropped🤣. For real though, talking shit before a game and not talking after a loss is weak AF.

  5. FreakyFox

And that coffee lady’s name? Jimmy Butler

    “reporters” doing “reporting”

Who actually cares. As someone who wants to get into sport journalism and covering the NBA seeing this stuff hurts. It is so far removed from anything to do with journalism and has become grown adults spreading rumours and gossip as fact.

I’m trying so goddamn hard to find a way to put Kelvin Benjamin into this new pasta and I just can’t find a way. Maybe the meme is finally dead.

Hahaha I have been to the Philippines. Sometimes strangers share stuff they are passionate about unprompted. I am not surprised at all.

Like their pathetic booing did anything. Dillon Brooks had a good game.

This whole Dillon Brooks coverage on that LeBron thing is so dumb. It just makes me want to root for him.

Why is this a story. Furthermore, why is it reposted.

[Reynolds] I’m at USA practice. There’s a coffee shop in the lobby. A man, unprompted, sees my credential and revealed that he watched his girlfriend get fucked last night. “And I did it because I love Steph Curry.” With that, he walked away.

I like to think that the lady was actually was working at said coffee shop and just walked away from her job after that declaration. Otherwise why mention the coffee shop at all ? Perhaps this was entirely premeditated; she had applied for the position knowing basketball media would be passing through that hotel. She waited for the perfect moment , fulfilled her promised duty, and walked away into the distance, never to be seen again.

In the Philippines, people tend to be fans of players rather than teams. Most of the country is either a LeBron or Curry fan. LeBron is probably the consensus GOAT in the Philippines although I haven’t seen a poll, I’m just talking out of my ass lol.

I’m at competitive eating practice. There’s a coffee shop in the lobby. A lady, unprompted, sees my credential and revealed that she booed a nutritionist last night. “And I did it because I love Kelvin Benjamin.” With that, she walked away.

Memes aside, for us wrestling fans, Dillion Brooks is the big heel who got humbled by a babyface and now nobody can ever take him seriously again. He got stomped.
