Also a lockdown lineup of Amen, Brooks, Tate, Tari, Bari sounds fun. Offense might have some whoas but the ball movement & defense would be fun af

Tate may have a bigger role than the general fanbase realizes given that he does his specialized and narrow skillset well and there’s immense trust placed on him (based on his loyalty to the org that gave him a shot at the League) usually and he behaves as professionally as you could expect from him. Too bad Will Weaver couldn’t stick around.

I agree, it’s premature to assume that Whitmore will be taking his minutes. *Maybe* Tari takes his minutes if the new staff sees Tari as a valid choice at SF, but to this point Tari has primarily been a 4 in the NBA and it does seem like his highest upside position.
I don’t know that he has a future on a Rockets playoff team when he’s 30, but right now he’s going to get minutes as a solid glue guy and coaches pet, *as he should* because he makes winning plays.

100% agree he’s better than KJ Martin. I’m glad we traded him instead
Idk how much Tate will play but his defense will be more valuable
