Just some comments: Lauri (like "Lowry" in Kyle Lowry) Markkanen, not Lori Markkanen. Also 7 foot (213 cm), not 6'11.
Also it was never a question of if he's NBA player or not, Bulls wanted to keep him (in a corner as a shooter) but he needed change of scenery. Cavs wanted to keep him (as a 3th-4th option) but Ainge said that Lauri and Sexton need to be in a deal if Cavs want to talk about getting Donovan.
Were people viewing him as a star or potential star? That's totally different conversation 😄 That depends on the point of his career too.
