About the shooting: At least Lauri has tributed his bad shooting at not getting his legs properly going in the tournament. He won't say it aloud but everyone here knows that the time in the military and late start for playing with the national team this summer is big part of the reason of those problems. He have said that he only felt like he was getting in the rhythm of games in the last two games and even then he didn't feel 100% yet. Which is of course good for Jazz because 100% Lauri will be scary 😄
Also it sounds funny when NBA people say Lauri has been impressive in this tournament since Finnish narrative is that Lauri played bad 😄 He had good numbers especially in the two last games and he played well against Cap Verde. Still he was so far from the Lauri he could be, far from roaring Eurobasket Lauri.
One more point of Finnish national team: they clearly had problems with teamplay. Some veteran guys retired after last summer who had been a big piece in a team. So they are young team and many up-and-comers got bigger role than before. It took them almost until end of the tournament to start meshing in the court like Susijengis of the past. This team was dubbed before the tournament by many as most talented Susijengi yet. What we saw though was that they need to build the chemistry on the court better for them to actually be on that level they should be able.
