The Portland Trail Blazers haven’t had meaningful conversations regarding a Damian Lillard trade in a while, according to Zach Lowe of ESPN. In the most recent episode of The Lowe Post podcast, Lowe indicated there’s nothing happening on a Lillard trade.”I’ve heard there’s been nothing, I mean, like no meaningful dialogue at all,” Lowe said.Lowe, and podcast guest Bobby Marks of ESPN, both agreed that there’s been very little traction on a Lillard trade. That includes conversations with the Miami Heat, and other teams. Marks said he thinks Lillard would need to make things uncomfortable for trade talks to pick up ahead of training camp. Miami and lillard have no leverage…
well every team has their hopes now, once they start the season get some injuries, losing must win games… they will get on board and start the bidding for Dame.
Dame has min 3 season left with 62mil player option on the 4th.
Doubt he will reject 62mil at that age to become a free agent and sign a new lucrative contract.
So 4 years left, Portland is not in a rush at all.
Miami on the other hand, are basically left without impactful PG.
Herro is a SG.
Gabe is gone.
Lowry is too old, wont play more then 20min.
