USA had a small roster. They couldn’t play defense and stop old school style basketball. Steve Kerr tried to run a golden state warriors style team and it didn’t work.
I do not get the point here. Fact is it was a great game from both teams and fun to watch. What is the title here? Pathetic and Destroyed? really? it was pretty close. Not a dominating US team as most of people would always expect. Some guys should really come down to Earth and accept that not only the US boys can play ball. As german i think the US team deserves way more respect. It was a semi final after all & the german team is good and has a really great spirit. We all know this isn't really the US's best players anyway.

IMO this team represents how we’ve been developing players over the last decade pretty much. This is the future of Team USA. KD, Steph and all them won’t be around much longer. Our player development is very ISO-centric and lacks defensive which mostly comes from AAU. The guys who really got the fundamentals down and are Team players are pretty much done after college or go overseas.

I'm sorry but I never want to see another Dream Team from the USA again. The sheer arrogance I remember seeing from past teams and you'd end up getting another team with the same attitude as the USA Women's Soccer team.

As a Canadian, I wanted to play Team USA, but in the final. Unfortunately not.
Serbia and Germany are solid squads and they play together more. Amazing system and disapline. US and Canada have to put some stars together and hope they gel.
