Whew, where do I start?… First of all, we split with y'all last year under the "Silas Debacle" 😂😂😂 where we beat y'all convincingly both times. we didn't even have an offense that was the same from game to game. Udoka and company are definitely winning the series this year based on that alone.
We spent our money this summer on getting championship winning veterans. If so many players are interested in playing with Wemby, why did y'all "hold off" to plan for next summer to spend? Because nobody wants to play with an unproven #1 overall pick with this much hype surrounding him. Players may not actively desire to come play with individual players on our (HOU) roster, but they definitely want to play for our coach. Nobody's beating down the door to be coached by Pop (clearly).
Putting so much weight on your "draft capital" to either use or trade proves y'all aren't convinced and are still constructing your roster.
Your GM & scouting staff doesn't compare either. We've gotten steals in the draft 3 years in a row (Sengun #16, Tari Eason #17 & Cam Whitmore #20).
With the way this years Houston team is constructed from the coaching staff to the roster, y'all aren't competition at all. Trust me.
They might be by few percentage better ,since spurs didn’t go after free agents
