Currently the top 4 NBA players are Non-American. So USA basketball dominance no more.
Second time in two games against team USA they controlled the game until 4th quarter, to then have some nerves, but this time they learned from the first game which they fumbled and lost, to then aggressively prevent Ant from playing hero 3 point lobbing machine. They hedged him off the court, so the late comeback was only really fueled by some questionable calls for team USA but that did not stop Germany either. I am looking at you, Austin Reaves and Paolo Banchero, pushing Andy Obst in the back while the other slapped him across the arm onto the chest in what looked like a sandwich and should have been a foul, but gave the americans possession as the ref 1m away saw it as a turnover and not a foul, LOL.
Team Germany deserved to be in this final, and one to go, against a tough Serbian team, but I like our chances!

USA will never, EVER, send a small ball team again. This is the death of small ball line ups, we already saw it in the last NBA playoffs: teams can shoot threes and not compromise size. Steph is an anomaly that gives the illusion that it can actually work, but outside of golden state, no team has been able to be sustainably good without controlling the boards.
