Dame wouldn't want to play with Giannis because he already won a ring. Dame is targeting Miami for a particular reason. First reason is Bam, 2nd reason is Miami front office, HEAT culture, 3rd they haven't bean able to win a championship with their main roster… Dame is the missing piece.
Andy Elisburg & Pat should call all their other front office buddies and ask them to call Cronin and offer nonsense like:
OKC: Bertans, Oladipo, salary filler, & 2nd round picks
Grizzlies: Luke Kennard, Shaq Harris, salary filler & 2nd round picks
Knicks: Fournier, other salary filler, & 2nd round picks
Then Cronin can save face & say “we looked at all the offers and were able to get an excellent package from Miami”
Otherwise, Cronin is going to continue to be a crap GM and just be frozen in fear about what to do with Dame
