I don’t think JHS will get minutes this year BUT he has the possibility of addressing one of this teams’ flaws: we don’t have good defenders for small, quick, guards who utilize screens a lot.
This is one of Reaves’ weaknesses, Vando is good but he struggles with screen navigation, Vincent is only okay, and I don’t think we’ve seen enough of Christie to judge at this point.
If JHS devotes all of his time and energy to defense he might get situational minutes this year.
