Bad take. Aside from the big “if” that Wood can mature (narrator: he can’t), Lakers lost to Nugs not because of bad offense or 3 point shooting. We lost because we couldn’t defend. Wood makes it worse.

after AD got injured, thomas bryant performed exceptionally well. this highlighted the importance of TB to our team, especially when we faced denver. the GM of denver was smart enough to recognize the threat TB posed to them, so they traded for him, even though they didn’t intend to use him themselves, simply to prevent us from having him. but even if we had TB, ham wouldn’t utilize him because ham insists on playing 1 in 4 out, which limits the versatility of our roster. therefore, whether wood is useful to us depends entirely on the ham.

Every player should be aware of what playing for the Bron Lakers mean. Like, if you eff it up here, you are basically done. You are doomed to vet mins forever because nobody will trust you to be able to work anywhere else. OTOH, if you put in the work, this one season can get you paid.
