Cam should be over max
Max Christie about to become the next AR! I have high hopes based on what he did last year when he got his chances, at South Bay and recently in Summer League. I just hope they get him the minutes early. He's earned them.
Especially if he plays better defense than Reaves.
Lol. He should play 10 minutes max. No spot for rookies on this roaster. People keep saying Vando will get less minutes. Vando is the best defensive player on the team besides AD. What are y'all smoking?
He should be a 20 minute rotation player.
So Vando is going to have a big role. Rui is starting. Wood probably starts. Hayes is probably starting. Reaves will be an all-star. JHS might suprise us. Prince is a great pickup and will be important. Vincent is our best guard defender and possibly better than Schroeder. Max has the highest ceiling in the NBA and is probably going to be an elite 2-way wing soon. Cam is underrated and still has all the talent in the world to put it all together. Maybe Castleton can play himself into the last roster spot in summer league. Maxwell is very well rounded. Fudge might outcompete Cam for minutes and Hodge could become a dangerous shooter and is already an NBA level athlete. D'Lo got us into the playoffs and was our best shooter.
You know what? Everyone gets a big role I guess. Reaves 34 D'Lo 28 Wood 28 Vando 24 Vincent 24 Hayes 24 Max 22 Prince 20 Cam 18 and JHS 18 is 240 minutes? Did anybody tell Lebron and AD that unfortunately they can't play this season, because everyone on the roster gets a big role this season? Maybe they can use their talents to figure out how to work in Hodge, Lewis, Fudge and Castleton?
AD could be the power forward coach and LBJ draws up the plays? 😅
Max Christie will get spot play at the SG/SF but he as well as Cam are Trade assets – To expect us to tend for a title and have 10-15 min is pure fantasy

Max Christie should strictly be a Shooting guard I wouldnt like seeing him play minutes at the small forward

Jury is still out on Max and his hair style. He is a garbage time player.
I don't see the heart in max christy, like I saw it in Austin's heart in both players 2nd year w/lakers. I hope MC's heart, is to play extra hard , be the first one at the game and the last one out, after the game. During games, if he's not scoring, he needs to hustle , fight for balls, need outstanding Defense! Get some offensive rebounds for second shot attempts to score. Needs to affect the game in other positive ways. If he doesn't, I don't see lakers or any other team picking him up after next season. In my opinion , I don't see what Trevor sees in max christy ???

Max hasn’t shown anything yet in major league. Hype or trade him not paying the 13 mil new contract. He has to shine big time this year or ?
Max Christie will be as good of a player as Mikal Bridges or a watered down version of Jaylen Brown. people are going to call him "Prime"

I'm saying right know. Western conference finals lakers closing line up Reaves, M.Christie, Rui, Lebron and AD. He's made to be part of that closing line up
Max is the best on ball defender we have besides Vando. He will get quality minutes because DLo nor AR can defend their position. He’s also 42% 3pt shooter. So he can consistently knock down open 3’s
I want Max to thrive but I don’t agree that he has an open slot behind Reaves. I believe that Prince will play alot of sg.
Our front court is stacked and I think Wood slots our wings down a position.
Maybe I’m wrong but I see Prince getting most backup sg mins.

If Reddish, Hayes and Wood balls out this season, who will you keep for the full 13 million MLE available next season? The full MLE will be the only available contract next season that the Lakers can spend aside from vet min salaries they can give out. That is if they go the hard cap route again next season. But the Bi-Annual Exception BAE won't be available coz they used it this year. Unless Lebron opts out and leaves, they will have some cap room to spend.
So who will be more valuable of the three if all of them contributed to the Lakers having again a deep playoff run or even winning the chip? Who will you keep? Assuming all their values are the full MLE. A wing forward in Cam? A PF/C in Wood? or a Big in Hayes? Who is more fit w/ AR, Lebron and AD moving forward? The Lakers can keep only one unless one of them opts in and consume the 2nd yr of his contract.
Prince they have a non bird right for a 120% raise of the 4.5mil he signed. Max is Gilbert Arenas Rule protected. Rui and Austin are under contract. Vando is a big question mark for now. He has not been offered an extension yet. But they have bird rights on him. JHS and Lewis are also under contract. DLo? well if he's not traded, he would probably opt out and give way to the Lakers having the full MLE available next season.

In my opinion the lineups should be Reaves vando Rui lbj ad, dlo Vincent prince wood hayes, vando Vincent and prince can all rotate through the starting lineup for defense.

I Love Max Christie, I think his Game will go to the next level. I would also like to see Cam Reddish play a role at shooting guard. Sky’s the limit for this squad. Couldn’t be more excited for the upcoming season. Let’s GO Laker Nation!!
Max Christie needs SWAG like AR. He needs to learn how to be tough and feisty.

AD, Vando and Christie will be the key elements of the Lakers defensive identity…. And Ham is a stickler when it comes to rewarding defensive minded personnel. I expect Christie to play 14-18 mins per game…. Also Reaves is coming off a tiring WC stint … they'll be watching his mins which means more opportunities for Christie and even Reddish early in the season
We have a hole at SG, hope Max would fill that gap. Not sure if Reddish will be defensive minded.
I think he’s better than cam reddish right now and he should be the backup two.
There just won’t be any minutes for him unless he outplays Vincent. You can really only play 3 guards. That 4th guard will play 5-10 min max
Reaves and Russell will play 29-33 min per game each. That leaves about 30-35 min to divide between Vincent and anybody else.
You guys have been talking Max up a lot, so I'm hoping that you guys are right because it'd be a lot of fun to watch him play this year and take a huge leap forward so to say.

Darvin Ham won't play him
Christie did spectacular in the G league but can he handle the NBA players? Also, Linsanity also did spectacular in the G league but everyone, including his former team, the Lakers, ignored.
