You have to wonder if these former Packers just came here to get the money and sabotage the Bears. And shame on the upper management for catering to anything with a pulse to come here. As a Bears fan, they've FINALLY exonerated me to go watch some other team on Thursday, Sunday, and Monday. It's been 40+ yrs but this is idiotic to see from a franchise representing the second city of the USA 🇺🇸 to put this kind of results year in and year out. The people who support that team faithfully don't deserve that. The only way CHICAGO is hoisting an NFL championship trophy, is if there's another expansion team brought to play there.
Fields is FINISHED, send him Getsy and Eberflus away. He sucked stop making excuses for him.
the defense for Fields always astounds me… Like i get it, we all want him to be the 1.. but when he had time he still didn't do anything.. Burrow took 9 sacks or whatever in a playoff game and won… Nowhere near the running capability either… At some point you have to realize what you have and make plans for the future… Were their a ton of flaws, sure, absolutely all around, Coordinators on both sides don't deserve any credit.. but we have to stop defending Fields and placing no blame!
Luke Getsy should be on the hot seat in Chicago after that performance against our division rival. It is only one game but they had weeks to plan for that team and came out with a horrible offensive plan. It brought me back to the Matt Nagy era with the dink and donk passes ALL GAME smh

Justin got like 40 yards in garbage time to 5 yard dump offs….he did not do good…he needs to anticipate and throw the longer route throws….they were plenty of ones he turned down to run n dump off

We continue to put a young QB behind a crap offensive line and it goes back to Angelo's arrival we just don't hit on those picks Dave Carami or Chris Williams we seem to find the turd in the punchbowl . Reminds me of the saying insanity is trying the same thing and expecting different results . As far as the OC it seemed he was channeling John Shoop Jauron's old OC with the wide receiver screens
Fields is not a starting quality NFL QB. He processes way too slowly and does not see the middle of the field well.

Why are you trying to say Fields wasn’t that bad? Come on dude. Fields was horrible is he not a 3 year starting qb and know how to check out of plays and to read defenses?
Let's not blame Getsy for the offensive game plan. The entire staff (plus Poles) agreed that Fields needs to be given baby steps because of his obvious limitations. They will let him loose later in the season, but don't expect that to lead to more wins. This is a 5-12 team.

Well there is finally a show today which is making excuses for his play. It is amazing to watch 4or5 shows that have watch the game and see it differently . Yhe line again……we will be hearing that excuse all season. I watched high lights from my games. There were multigames today where QBs who were under pressure and made plays. Yes the game plan was horrible and contributed to the loss. However, you must stop making excuses. Just watch Deshan Watson, he was under pressure frequently but made the play……..If the Bears want any succes give up the pass emphasis and run the ball. They really have 3running backs and among them is enough talent to jam the ball down the throats. The pass will open up. Too much to comment on
It is the coaching staff. The offensive play calling was horrible. The biggest mistake is hiring a defensive head coach. The next mistake was hiring Williams as a defensive coach I would never hire any coach that Detroit let go. The coaching staff is dumb they have no scheme. You blitz a young quarterback like love bring the blitz from every angle it seems the coaching staff like naggy is trying to give the impression that Justin is not the quarterback. This comes from the bears owners they do not want Justin as their. The bears want a Trevor. The bears know the quarterback will own Chicago. The bears want a white quarterback. Remember the bears owners come from a different time. The bears are setting it up to get rid of Justin.
Coaching staff knew the team is bad before the game. They hid how bad they are in the preseason. It appears we again want that number 1 draft pick and it’s only the first game in the season. The team is bad because the organization is bad. Very frustrating.
If I owned this team there's no way I'm hiring a rookie GM. You think they'd learn after the Pace/Nagy debacle. Doug Pederson was available. Consult with Jimmy Johnson on who to hire as GM. You're the founding franchise in the 3rd largest market. We deserve better
As a packers fan and knowing how we been building our defense, especially the d line. If it wasnt for fields mobility, he would of been sacked 8 to 11 times.
Wyatt and clark was coming up the middle consistently and luke van ness and gary was causing a lot of problems off the edge.

This coaching staff is selfish ! They only care about keeping their job. It’s one thing if they’re good, they suck. Fire them and get a staff that can identify player skills and that can draw up a game plan to complement player strengths. Shame on them!!!!
