He’ll make vision 6-9 work because we have a guard willing to move the ball into other people’s hands instead of off the rim and into the stands

Austin Reaves is the latest in a long line of overrated Lakers players. Anytime someone even remotely young has a good season they’re overpraised as an upcoming star

After such a good World Cup, it’s got me hopeful that essentially turning Fred/Banton in to Dennis/McDaniels/Grady could end up being a bit of an upgrade for us, instead of a downgrade.

Obviously, we still have issues (lack of shooting, lack of guard depth), but I’m starting to feel hopeful we can get back into the 45 win range again, which would (in theory), boost up the value of some of our guys so that we could actually balance out the roster.

As far as next summer goes, I’m just not going to worry about it. It’s out of my control, and I’d like to just see them work at building an enjoyable team for this season.

The biggest impact Schroeder will make will be in the 4th quarter. Dude has the clutch gene.

bro got participation marks for this one

He’s gonna be a solid pg option who isn’t a good defender or floor spacer but can create off the catch and do allot of dribble penetration.

If some of the team gets better at shooting he will help if not then he’s just gonna hurt because he’s gonna get in Scotties and Pascals way… which is not great considering they already get in eachothers way.

How is Brooks not first. Dudes the definition of an impact player, good impact and bad impact lol.

People fail to realize FIBA and the NBA are different lol

Schroeder taking Fred’s spot while we’re still rolling with zero backcourt depth means he’ll get every opportunity to do something

While FVV is a better player, I do believe that Dennis will be better suited to run this offence and I think we will perform better as a unit than we did last year. We also saved a ton of money.

Whoever thinks he’s starting over Scottie is high asf Scottie is our pg

I’m from toronto and wife is from LA so we’ve been watching the raps and lakers for years. Schroeder has been waaaaay better than people have given him credit for over the last 5 years. Every play he is hustling, diving all over the court, extending every possession.

He made a big mistake declining that $88 million 4 year contract because he is definitely worth every penny of that considering the contacts that have been handed out this past offseason.

I think that the LeBron vaccine comments are what really detailed him after that championship year. I guess LBJ can really detail you if you get on his bad side. I’ve been saying it since he left LA the first time that he would be a great fit for us and now that he’s finally here I think he will make a huge difference.

I was a big fan of FVV and I’m sad to see him go but the addition of DS and his speed and hustle is going to do a lot to open things up for the rest of this team and give them a bit more time to find their rhythm.

You guys are gonna be severely disappointed when we’re competing for the last play-in spot

I’m hopeful but we need to temper expectations because A) FIBA is not NBA and we’ve seen plenty of guys be rockstars at fiba and not have it translate to nba. B) that Germany team doesn’t have the spacing issues that the Raptors have.
