[Owens] There are other teams interested in Damian Lillard despite the reported warnings from Lillard and his agent.

> The NBA issued a warning in July to Lillard, his agent Aaron Goodwin and the NBPA against communicating that Lillard would only play for the Heat next season. In a memo, the league stated that continuing to do so would result in discipline. It appears that the campaign remains in full effect with the regular season less than two months from tipping off.

> The state of talks amid a summer of stagnation is not clear. Trail Blazers general manager Joe Cronin is reportedly open all suitors, while any discussions with the Heat thus far obviously have not produced a deal. Other teams are obviously interested in the sharp-shooting All-Star despite the reported warnings, but it’s unclear if any have engaged in any significant discussions with the Trail Blazers.

Don’t see anyone else trading for an unhappy Dame while giving up a boatload of assets other than Miami.

Do yo homework on dame not showing up for training camp if they trade for him. It hit different when he only wants to be traded to Miami

  3. Apprehensive-Tea-39

Interested and interested enough to make an offer are very different things

    I’m interested in buying a Tacoma I can’t afford.

Of course there are other teams interested in Damian Lillard, just no teams interested enough to offer more than the Miami package.

    You don’t say???

Are those other teams in the room with us now, Dame?

Dame and Harden are almost surely not going to get traded until mid December at the earliest. That’s when the players who signed new contracts and extensions this summer start becoming available to be traded. There’s no reason for Philly and Portland to entertain offers until teams can offer up all those recently signed players, as the offers right now are pretty bad without those guys able to be included.

Sounded like Toronto has interest, however, i think if they were serious you quietly trade for Dame if you’re them. Shams low-key leaking Dame wouldn’t report there makes me think they were trying to get the ok from Dame’s camp and aren’t comfortable just boldly making an all in move

I know the sixers want Dame, but Morey will wait out this Harden thing.

I think he wants to get Dame by moving nothing much more than Harden

Is he crazy, probably, but he also got Harden for Ben after people said he wasn’t gonna get more than role players, including 90% of this sub.

I’m sure a lot of teams are “interested”. Doesn’t mean they are giving up this big mystical haul Cronin keeps telling blazers fans about. At this point, Pat should throw in a Wendy’s frosty coupon so Cronin can act like it was a win when he goes back and shows the fans.

Dame full of shit pretending he wont report if a contender trades for him other than miami.

Dame, you are now a Shanghai Shark.

Why is Damian Lillard allowed to make threats as “won’t show up to camp” while getting paid hundreds of millions of dollars. Can Portland decide not pay Damian the money they signed him for? I think he would grab his copy of the contract and demand Portland to abide by it.

Why am I not suprised alot of teams were interested in a “star player” is this new?

Does he think that if he limits who he wants to be traded to that the world will think he’s only being loyal to TWO franchises? Something’s wrong with this guy’s thinking.

The answer is OKC. They have enough talent and draft picks to be able to give up and still have a excellent team. Dame will be pissed off until he realizes he’s signed for 3 more years, and he’s on a better team that will likely still have draft picks to make more moves. He’ll either have to play, or sit out for 3 years without getting paid.

Dame is one of the few that earned his right to ask to leave, it’s like KG, Karl Malone, Clyde Drexler, Charles Barkley… but to think he has the leverage to pick his team is ridiculous.

Dame don’t threaten them with a good time!
