He broke her neck vertebrae. Imagining the force needed to do that is disgusting. I hope he gets jail time, professional behavioral help, and never plays in NBA again.

Waiting for the “there’s 2 sides to every story” clowns to come and try to spin this.

Absolutely horrific. Dude legitimately needs help, and should never play for the Rockets again.

it’s appalling to even think about such actions. absolutely, justice needs to served and he’s gotta face consequences for what he did, professional help included. can’t just let stuff like this slide, no matter how big an nba star you’re. i hope that doesn’t happen.

Unbelievable. He did that to John Lucas’ goddaughter. The man who, according to himself, saved his life. Hope for a speedy recovery for Kisre, but JL must be devastated.

When someone shows their true colors, believe them.

I can’t imagine what Kysre, John Lucas, and her family are going through right now. This is brutal.

I hope Kysre makes a full recovery and heals in all aspects ASAP. Same to her friends and loved ones (Lucas too).

    >According to Johnson’s hospital report which she posted to Instagram, she was an “adult victim of abuse by male partner” which included assault by strangulation, brain concussion, closed fracture of nasal bone, contusion of rib, multiple bruises, and a neck muscle strain. On July 19, Bridges was charged with one felony count of injuring a child’s parent and two felony counts of child abuse

I just don’t trust the justice system and the NBA to do this right after bridge’s case.

Do not want him to ever play for the Rockets again

NBA is involved in the investigation, so the Rockets have to wait before they can do anything. However, it’s fair to say KPJ’s time in Houston, and possibly the NBA, is over. Horrible and disappointing from KPJ. Man just squandered his future.
