However, aside from Shai Gilgeous-Alexander who performed really well for Canada, another young OKC Thunder star that won the Rising Star of the World Cup has been Josh Giddey. The Thunder’s young core is composed of Giddey, Shai, Jalen Williams, and Chet Holmgren. Next season, Oklahoma City is once again bound to surprise the NBA with a solid offseason. But can the Thunder make it back to the NBA playoffs?

Josh Giddey is one of the Thunder’s best young players.and he’s proven it both during the NBA season and in the FIBA World Cup. The question is, can he emerge into a different tier in his 3rd season alongside Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Lu Dort, Jalen Williams, and Chet Holmgren? The Thunder are Building a New Juggernaut but can they finally make it back to the NBA playoffs and beat teams like the Lakers, Nuggets, Warriors, Suns, or Mavs?
