    As much long as I’ve been a Knicks fan I’ve never seen a team that emits so much division with Knicks fans.

    I never once questioned if John Starks was better than Derrick Harper. Or if Mason was better than Oakley!

    If you’re a Knick, I’m a fan of yours! I don’t want Julius to fail because then we do! I don’t want RJ to become the great player he’s destined to be to prove Knicks fans wrong, but rather all the naysayers who kept him off the All Rookie Team (biggest snub of all time).

    We need to chill with the Civil war!!!

    I would rank them like this; JB, Randle, RJ, IQ, Grimes, Hart, Mitch. I may put Dante over Mitch too but we haven’t seen him in NY. Mitch is a good offensive rebounder because he has 0 offense. He hurts the Knicks more than helps. A gus like Turner has less off reb because he can actually shoot. Mitch can score unless it’s a dunk. Mitch is a one way player that hurts the team by clogging the paint.

    I guess when I hear better player for the Knicks I think of their typical position/spot or role. I would say IQ as he was great off the bench. Not so much in the playoffs. MR is a helpful defensive anchor for a big man but is not much of a scorer. JH is a solid role player. Great hustle. In some ways he reminds me of John Starks. RJ had some good games but is still inconsistent at times and that may be a concern this season again. Perhaps he’ll have a breakout season.

    RJ Barrett, imho, doesn't have as much upside as people are saying.

    That being said, my belief is that he can be a consistent scorer for his entire career. Shot selection is what will determine whether he's scoring 17 – 18 ppg or 20 – 22 ppg.

    RJ is the 5th, Knicks best player. IQ has proven to be better, and Grimes would do the same if he got as many touches as BumJ.

    After Brunson reluctantly Randle is number 2 and I don’t mean literally. But Hart is better than RJ. If he got RJ’s minutes he would be an all around much better player. Obi was and will be better than Randle. The Knicks let a player go that had more upside than anyone on this team. He played above the rim. He played with energy up and down the court. There were games last season where he was scoring 20-30 points when Randle was hurt. Randle and RJ won’t figure out how to play in the playoffs until they can go RIGHT. Randle is a turnover machine but defenses know he can’t go right. He has one spin move that he is now getting the ball stripped away. RJ should have been gone when they tried to get Mitchell. People keep given him the benefit of the doubt….they talk about all star and he’s not even close. He’s a typical Duke player. Good college career and 13 years in the NBA and possibly 2 all star season. Duke players don’t have great careers. Grant Hill injury stopped him. He’s in the HOF partially because he’s a good guy. Zion is not going to have the career we thought. Women drama weight problems and head problems. So don’t expect much from RJ.
