Markelle Fultz I honestly thought he was the absolute perfect fit(pre whatever the hell happened to his shoulder) with Simmons+Embiid and I think Simmons would of been more accepting of a different role if Fultz became the scoring 3 point shooting guard with size and wingspan. Embiid as a elite 2 way center, Simmons as distributor+rebounder+elite defender, Fultz as a score first guard with defensive skills…..what could of been and I actually got my season tickets the moment I knew we were getting Fultz.

I think ET would have been legit with a 3pt shot.. not a star, but a good scorer

Andre Iguodala. At least he will go down in NBA history as the only player to be 3rd best in a finals (being generous) and win FMVP.

I really thought Fultz was going to be THAT guy. I already accepted that we wouldn’t be able to get him because he was for sure going #1.
He (like Monta Ellis) had it all: dribbling, self creation, passing, shooting, athletic, could attack the rim, played solid D, had great size.
He was everything you wanted in a guard, best guard prospect since Kyrie. When that Kings pick conveyed and we had a possible path to getting him, I told myself no way were the Celtics gonna pass up on this guy and we’d be left with that unathletic , short armed, kobe wannabe Tatum.
I thought the Celtics giving us fultz was gonna be the start of a decade long dynasty and we’re gonna clown Celtics fans forever over this massive mistake.
Kelle / JJ / Bridges / Simmons / Embiid is what I thought our champion squad would’ve looked like.
Turns out I’m a clown and having any hope in the Sixers org doing something right is just absolute delusion.
I’m still convinced he fucked up his shoulder doing something off court and we just rolled with it.
I don’t think it would’ve worked out anyway, we saw what happened when you took the ball out of Simmons hands. Maybe, if Markelle pans out, we flip Simmons before he mentally shits himself and get an actual wing to replace him but now this is all just wild speculation.
I really thought we were gonna have a dynasty lol

Older Sixer – Juan “Pepe” Sanchez. Young me was convinced this Temple product was the truth.
New Sixer – Evan Turner. Guy dominated at Ohio State. I thought he was going to be the next superstar.
Outside Sixers – Michael Beasley. He was dominant. I spent many hours arguing he should have been drafted over D Rose. He was just that good at Kansas as a Freshman. Bad take by me.

If Ja played in the 90s and early 00s, he’d be a hall of famer.
