Kai Jones responds to an Instagram user claiming Mark Williams is better than him: “show me a video of mark pulling up going left and hitting it. Anywhere man in college some where show one”

Not sure we’ve ever seen a league player attempt to cook one of his own teammates. He also responded to someone claiming Nick Richards is better than him, saying he’s a more assertive player than him.

Will Kai Jones be on the roster to start next season?

Hornets are the gift that keep on giving

Dude is roasting his teammates when he averaged 3.4 ppg last year. Good way to lose a roster spot.

God this dude is dumber than a brick. You’d think a week after tweaking out on IG he’d chill out and put down social media for a bit but nope lol

Also, saying he does stuff that’s way outside his actual skillset (which starts and ends at running fast and jumping really really high) isn’t the flex he thinks it is. Mark plays his role extremely well for a rookie.

I really want him to succeed because he can be one of the league’s most entertaining dunkers, but there’s just straight up nothing between the ears apparently.

  4. This team is up there with the Wizards during the Arenas/Nick Young/Crittenton/Javale/Blatche era where being their coach must be the hardest thing in the world

Charlotte Hornets be a normal franchise for one day challenge (IMPOSSIBLE)

This Hornets team needs a Netflix special

  13. paddiction

Lol is this why Kenny Atkinson pulled out at the last minute and they were stuck re-hiring Clifford?

  14. YpsitheFlintsider

Dude got in the best shape of his life, barely got better, then turned into a nutter.

The league needs to start offering social media training for these young guys. Although I’m sure half of them won’t even show up to it. Maybe it’s better if the agents do it

  16. cabbages212

We should trade him for his Molly dealer. Better ROI

  17. Wasnā€™t this the guy who posted the video sweating like a whore in church and speaking gibberish?

this is why you need a vet everyone loves and can get motivated by

Not surprised by any of this. Had a relative in the hornets organization that said all of the players were pretty chill with the lone exception of Kai Jones who according to him was ā€œa massive cuntā€. This was during his rookie year too.

Hornets carrying this offseason content rn

Lmao who roasts their own teammate like this? Especially one that is obviously way better

Hey, I remember a time when Phoenix was the laughingstock of the NBA because our former shitheel racist scumbag of an owner put live goats into the former asshole GM’s office, where they proceeded to shit all over the place. When our starting PG tweeted out how he didn’t wanna be here anymore. When Suns fans were still trying to convince themselves that guys like Bender and Chriss were actual NBA talent.

It’ll get better, Hornets fans. At least you guys got yourselves a new owner.

Took me longer than expected to realize this isnā€™t r/nbacirclejerk

Players who trip over their own 2 feet to fall out of the league are absurd

Edit – also Iā€™ll give a good example of how it doesnā€™t have to be that way. Mitchell Robinson came into the league straight out high school (trained for a year instead of going to college) and seemed to have next to no PR training as a rookie. He was also on a very cheap deal the first 4 years of his career (less than $2 mil per year) and easily couldā€™ve blown his money irresponsibly.

He also has a very goofy personality and that never translated into negative on-court behavior. Outside of complaining about fouls (heā€™s since improved his foul trouble), the guy loves his teammates and just doesnā€™t get into trouble. Youā€™d think thatā€™d be even more likely to happen playing in NY too. Now heā€™s making $15+ mil per year when a lot of people doubted him having any NBA future at all.
