The New York Knicks have a little over a month remaining to offer Immanuel Quickley a contract extension before the season starts. One of the main questions heading into this offseason was if the Knicks would extend Quickley, for how much and for how long. While a number of NBA league sources have given us an estimate of IQ’s next contract, we have a new report from an NBA executive that pegs Immanuel Quickley’s value to be close to that of starting Knicks PG Jalen Brunson. With the expectation being that Quickley could receive starter like money for his next deal. Troy Mahabir breaks all of this down!

Facts…the Playoffs is where a player shows his value.
It will be different as a starter with RJ/Brunson/Randle in the lineup. When he started it was with Brunson or RJ not playing.
Qualifying offer or lower than J.Brun, IQ could get from the market.
Pay the man.
Unfortunately IQ doesn’t extend with us and will eventually be traded. Leon an Co. don’t want to give him 100 million. Because of his 2 way prowess he’s well worth the asking price IMO. IQ will have a great upcoming season and the Knicks will regret not signing him to this deal. Start him next to JB.
