But seriously, this dude’s a chode. It’s a 1% sales tax increase that went into place back in like the 90’s or something. Sales tax in OKC is like 8.65%, did this dude really think they were going to lower taxes to 7.65%? Fuck, the shit hole I live in has 9.15% sales tax! Does it suck that ownership isn’t fitting the bill more? Kinda, yeah. It does give the city better leverage to keep the team long term though.
